Adorable Dogs Rescue- An All Breed Rescue
"You can't change the world by adopting one animal, but you can change the whole world for that one animal."
By rescuing, you not only save the life of one dog, but two - the one you made part of your family, and the one who can take his place at the Rescue.
Should I rescue? Here's the story of one family that did and the pup they saved.
I will write a journal about Moses to entice people to apply to rescue.
If anyone should NOT have...it was us. Too old, too close to retirement.
If only I could afford to...Already had 6 animals in the house,
But, I trusted you inherently to make the right choice for
our family. The right choice? I look at our new boy, Moses...and my
heart swells with that feeling of "Oh my goodness, isn't this
wonderful?" We almost missed this golden opportunity to share our
lives with him. It makes us shudder to realize that we almost didn't get
to see him awaken to the joys of having a best friend, to having
toys to play with, and better yet, to enjoy by sharing his toys with
others. He awakens with his tail wagging. He sleeps with his tail
Occasionally, something will trigger a bad memory...a belt
being taken off by my husband, or when I say, "No, no"...and he crouches
down so low...as if to disappear. And we reassure him. Then, all is
well. We tell him everyone makes mistakes. Then, off he goes with
renewed confidence and the sun shines once again. We almost missed this
incredible joy - this awakening of the wonders of life. To snuggle with
him is to know that that he cannot get close enough to get the warmth of
our love. He carries his new toys with great pride, and no longer eyes
the cats suspiciously but will share snuggle time with them on the
Our embassies could take a few lessons...Any time I wonder how
I should respond to a situation, I wonder what Moses would do...not
because I lack knowledgeable friends, but because I have learned that
rescued dogs have many life lessons to share. If only I were half as
decent a person as Moses. Thank you again for making our
home so full of joy. I hope people fill out those applications. Those
with big hearts...and open minds. They will learn that an entire new
world of "Giant" smiles and "Giant" love awaits. That is what being rich
means. It really isn't about money...it is about the size of someone's
Adorable Dogs Rescue- An All Breed Rescue
Adorable Dogs Rescue is a non-profit rescue located in TN. We are an all volunteer group dedicated to finding forever homes for dogs surrendered by their owners and abandoned in rural areas in TN. We place our dogs in homes in the Northeastern states. We will arrange for comfortable and safe transport for your dog from TN to the Northeast. In answer to a common question from potential adopters……Yes, we will adopt to Massachusetts families. The adoption process is as follows:Request an application by emailing ADRescue2014@gmail.com. Return the application via email.
If you are the best match, we will contact you. Make your payment and schedule a pick-up date.
Note: Rules for when and where you can pick up your pup vary by the state you live in.
All of our adult dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, parasite free, healthy and have a good temperament. Most dogs will be housebroken, leash trained and crate trained. We will discuss details with any potential adopter and be happy to answer all of your questions.
If you need to have a puppy spayed/neutered, check out these low-cost clinic locator websites. There is one for MA, RI and NH. See our Available Dogs page for more information.
All donations will be used to vet our rescues, and are tax deductible. If you can't adopt a dog, sponsoring a spay/neuter at PAULS Clinic (on our Donation Page) is a great way to help save the many dogs that are being surrendered and abandoned. However, it is a fallacy that all rescue dogs are feral or have been abused. Most are wonderful pets that have to be given up by veterans and soldiers who go off to war, families that have lost their homes and can't have pets in their new apartments, seniors that are ill or dying and cannot take care of their pets, and families that have lost jobs and can't afford to feed their beloved animals.
All donations no matter how small are greatly appreciated. It takes all of us doing our part to save the lives of these innocent dogs that have no where else to turn for help. We stand behind our dogs. If the adoption doesn't work out , we want the dog back in our rescue to be re-homed. We are confident that we are offering dogs for adoption that will make wonderful family pets .
Sometimes it takes a little while to get all of our pets listed, so if you have a particular kind of pup/dog you are looking for let us know by e-mailing us at ADRescue2014@gmail.com and we will get back to you with pictures and information to let you know if we have a rescue you can save.
